Jason Davis is the Founder and President of TintedSun, LLC, a technical sales and manufacturing advisory firm serving the electronics industry. Based in Central Illinois, he brings more than 20 years of experience across engineering, quoting strategy, supply chain management, and operational leadership within high-reliability Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).

He works with OEMs and manufacturing partners to strengthen program execution, reduce risk, and improve manufacturing outcomes across complex electronic assemblies.

Jason earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Bradley University and began his career in hands-on manufacturing environments supporting aerospace, defense, and industrial programs.

He has held leadership roles at:

• CAMtek
• Zentech
• The Morey Corporation

Supporting customers including:

• Boeing
• Raytheon
• L3Harris Technologies
• SAIC

His work has included new product introduction, design for manufacturability, cost modeling, ERP/MRP alignment, supplier strategy, and high-reliability process control.

Jason is known for his structured approach to evaluating manufacturing risk within EMS environments.

He analyzes:

• Bill of Material lifecycle exposure and obsolescence risk
• Supplier concentration and sourcing stability
• Tariff and cost volatility impact
• Assembly risk across high-mix manufacturing
• Documentation integrity and process alignment
   

He has developed disciplined evaluation frameworks that bring clarity to large datasets, allowing leadership teams to understand exposure before it affects cost, schedule, or quality.

His strength lies in connecting engineering detail with executive decision-making — ensuring technical realities are reflected in business outcomes.

Jason is certified in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 and consults within AS9100 and ISO 9001 environments. He values structured documentation, disciplined process control, and steady execution in high-reliability programs.
